Yoseikan-Ryu Karate is proud to present the first of two novice tournaments to be held in 2019. The Dave King Novice Championship is a fantastic opportunity for beginning and intermediate students of Karate to experience the Sports Karate atmosphere. The tournament is designed for students who have never won a novice event at a major tournament. Children in particular can develop their confidence in both Kata and Kumite by competing with other similarly experienced children, with the aide of understanding referees and marshals. If you have always wanted your children to get a better idea of what competitive karate is like and what their karate training can go towards, please consider getting them to participate in this rewarding tournament.
